Shy Girl

My mother in the early 1940's

For this layout I used some beautiful laces, flowers, and rhinestone trim from the Tresors de Luxe Etsy shop.

These are some of the other products I used:

Riddersholm Design paper- Vintage Venture - Skies

Riddersholm Design paper- Vintage Venture - Yesterday

Wycinanka chipboard - Blueberry Swirls Big Frame with Lattice

Wycinanka chipboard - Fullness of Summer 7

Martha Stewart punch - Wild Flowers

Spellbinders die -Captivating Squares

Along the inside of the punched area I spread a thick layer of tacky glue and sprinkled Stampendous Taupe Color Fragments, small white beads and micro beads in white, turquoise and bronze overtop. After the glue was dry I applied a couple of coats of Krylon Low Odor Clear Matte spray to help keep the beads from falling off too easily.

Here are some close-ups of the layout:

Thanks for taking a look.

  3. Such amazing work, so exquisite Tracy!! Those are sweetly perfect colors that complement the photo, and the punchwork is also perfection. Love the beaded border too. Actually, love it all, such attention to detail, another work of art!

    1. Thanks. It probably takes me about a week or so on average to complete a layout but it depends on how my creative juices are flowing. I will sometimes work on several at once so I can jump back and forth if I start getting frustrated with one. It used to take me about a month for each one, but I guess I've accumulated so many supplies and have more experience now that it's a little easier to come up with ideas.
