Coca-Cola Girl

My sister, Linda, in 1965, holding an almost empty bottle of Coca-Cola

I'm continuing with my white paper, multimedia experimenting. For the background, I used a piece of Ranger Specialty Stamping paper.   I simply stencilled with molding paste, misted with water, dripped Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays overtop and misted with water randomly to make the colours mix and spread.

These are the stencils and spray colours I used:

Prima stencil - Stain
Crafter's Workshop mini template -
Grid

Kissin' Kenickie Coral
Tears on My Pillow Tangerine
Autumn Maple Crimson

Rizzo's Rowdy Red
Clam Bake Beige

Don't Eat Yellow Snow
(from the Winter Wonderland Set)

This is the punch I used around the edges:

Martha Stewart PATP set - Lace Flower

The chipboard pieces are all from Blue Fern Studios.

Bohemian Flowers
Mixed Chains
Blooming Foliage

I cut some of the leaves off the Blooming Foliage piece then applied clear ink and embossed all of the chipboard with Stampendous Frantage Embossing Enamel in Aged Black.

Thanks for looking!

  3. Great colors and design that fit the photo and the time frame perfectly!! The use of the grid template on the background is just the right choice......it echoes the mesh lawn chairs in the photo! You've really created a superb atmosphere that is very fresh and charmingly reflects the 60's era!! Outstanding as always!!
