Tammy

My Great-Uncle Tammy

This is a layout of my great-uncle Tammy.  Not sure why he had that nickname (his given name was Gordon).

Went a few years back into my stash for the papers I used here.  They are from Prima's Nature Garden collection and Fairy Belle 6"x6" paper pad.
Prima - Nature Garden - Esprit
(I used this for some of the diecuts and the large flower)
Prima - Nature Garden - Fairy Godmother
 (I used the backside)

Prima - Fairy Belle - 6"x6" Paper Pad
(I used the polka dot paper)

Along the bottom  and top left corner I used molding paste with a stencil to add texture.  I then dripped Flat Fabio spray (Sandra Dee Sepia) over it before misting with water to make the colour spread.  I also rubbed a bit of the brown mist along the edges of the paper and scrunched the edges.

Prima - 6"x6" stencil - Fluttering Flowers
Lindy's Stamp Gang - Flat Fabio spray
 - Sandra Dee Sepia

These are the dies I used:

Spellbinders - Locking Loops
Spellbinders - Inverted Circles (small)
Spellbinders - Inverted Circles (large)

Heartfelt Creations - Vintage Floret
Cheery Lynn Designs - Build a Flower #1

I used the Vintage Floret die to make the large flower

I glued Ivory Flower Soft in the centers of the little flowers

I tried a few different things on the chipboard piece that I didn't like (white crackle, mixture of embossing powders) but finally just coated it with Black Soot Distress Embossing powder and dabbed brown paint overtop with my finger.

Blue Fern Studios - Deja Vu Border

As I did in my Great-Grandfather John layout,  I applied some blotches of glue to the layout, sprinkled them with Frantage Color Fragments (and this time Prima Mica Flakes as well) and embossing powders and then used a heat gun to melt the powders.

I also tucked little bits of cheesecloth (that I coloured with the Sandra Dee Sepia mist) under some of the flowers and added a little painted clay branch (that I cut down from a larger piece) under the photo.  The mushrooms were a Prima resin piece that I painted.

Thank you so much for looking!
