My husband's grandmother (center) with some friends |
For this layout I used Blue Fern Studios paper for the background and some of the die-cuts. I also used a piece of 49 and Market paper (from their 6x6 Heirloom Botanicals collection pack) for the red doilies and some yellow cardstock for the yellow punched borders around the photo.

I layered all the die-cuts over a black version to accentuate the edges. I lightly rubbed some white paint over the red doilies with my fingertip to soften the colour and to better match the cerise flowers,
The larger flowers are by 49 and Market from their Vintage Shades Collection in the yellow and cerise colours.
Thank you so much for taking a look!
So pretty Tracy! Love the colors! You always have the most fabulous buttons too! Those teenie tiny white flowers (I know I've seen them before on previous layouts you've made) are the cutest! I just finished a layout and used washi tape (which I tend to forget that I have) - and you just created this beauty and used washi tape - ha!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa! I got those tiny flowers at a dollar store years ago. One stem for a dollar had a bunch of these flowers on it (I bought them in white, yellow, green, pink and purple). I used to make little flower arrangements with them but found they add a nice touch to scrapbook layouts too.
DeleteBeautiful layout - love all the details!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Janene!
